Fall 2024 Show:
Failure: A Love Story
Set in 1928 Chicago, Failure: A Love Story tells the whimsical and bittersweet tale of the Fail sisters—Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty—who live above their family clock shop by the Chicago River. The play begins by revealing the sisters' fates: all three will meet untimely deaths before the year’s end. As the story unfolds, it delves into their dreams, relationships, and the love they share with Mortimer Mortimer, a charming outsider who touches each of their lives. Through humor, heartache, and a touch of magical realism, the play explores themes of time, loss, and the enduring power of love, reminding us that what truly matters never leaves us.
Auditions are on usually held the week prior to the start of our Fall session. Please sign up for both the play production class and your second choice class, in case you are not cast in this production.
