Ages 4 - 6


(ZOOM) ACT/SING COMBO (MON 4:30)
An introductory class for students learning the basics of acting and singing. Students will build skills to speak in front of an audience and learn how to sing as a group.
(ZOOM) SING/DANCE COMBO (WED 5:30)
An introductory class for students learning the basics of singing and dancing. Students will build skills to speak in front of an audience and learn how to sing as a group. JAZZ/BALLET COMBO (TUE 3:30)
This class is a prelude to formal dance instruction by introducing the positions, shapes and postures of traditional ballet and jazz dance -emphasizing cognitive and physical development at this important time of growth. TAP/BALLET COMBO (THU 5:30)
This class is an introductory class for students to learn the basics of jazz and ballet technique.




Ages 7 - 9


*Note: If cast in any productions you shouldn’t register for a class on Thursday’s after 5pm due to rehearsals taking place. JR. ACTING (WED 3:30)
An introductory level class designed to teach core acting skills. This is a great start for the child looking to stretch some new acting muscles and gain confidence in their performance skills. JR. VOICE (THU 5:30)
This class is a prelude to Voice 1 class. In this introductory class we will be learning basic voice practice including breathing, posture and blending in a choir techniques. JR. MUSICAL THEATER- (Mon 5:30(ZOOM)/6:30, Tue 5:30(ZOOM), Wed 4:30(ZOOM)
An introductory level class designed to teach the basics of musical theater. This class will focus on the three main aspects of musical theater, acting, singing, and dancing. JR. JAZZ (TUE 5:30)
This introductory class will be high energy and cover the basics of jazz dance. This class focuses on technique and style through strong and sharp movements.




Ages 10 - 12

An introductory level class designed to teach and strengthen core acting skills. This is a great start for the child looking to lay a strong foundation in developing a character. ACTING 2 (TUE 3:30)
Once your child has acquired some basic acting knowledge, this class is the perfect next step that encourages them to find individual acting style. VOICE 1 (TUE 4:30(ZOOM)/THU 4:30)
In this class, students will be exposed to more extensive vocal techniques. This class will work on strengthening voices through vocal warm-ups, breath support and more complicated melodic lines in musical theater songs as well as soloist work. Audition techniques will also be covered. VOICE 2 (MON 7:30)
An intermediate vocal class were students will be exposed to extensive vocal techniques as well as music reading skills and harmonies. We will be exploring what it takes to read basic sheet music through leaning notes names and rhythms, also exploring 2-3 part harmonies. MUSICAL THEATER 1(MON 3:30, 7:30 ZOOM)
An introductory level class designed to teach the basics of musical theater. This class will focus on the three main aspects of musical theater, acting, singing, and dancing. Class activities will involve theater games, vocal scales, singing and breathing techniques, memorization exercises, dialogue, stage and theatrical terminology, dance styles, focus techniques, audition tips, and general fun and silliness! MUSICAL THEATER 2 (WED 5:30 ZOOM)
This is an intermediate level class for a more in depth look at the three aspects of musical theater. This class will help develop performance skills and help grow the students understanding of different musical theater styles. Students in this class will be exposed to more advanced theater games, improvisation, voice and singing techniques, intermediate acting, intermediate dance, and more complicated choreography. JAZZ 1 (MON 3:30 ZOOM)
This beginning jazz class will introduce dancers to the technique and style of jazz dance. It will incorporate body strength, agility, style and flexibility to continue building the fundamentals of jazz dance. Your dancer will gain body coordination, style and power in their dancing. There is a strong emphasis on across the floor and learning choreography. BROADWAY JAZZ (MON 4:30 (ZOOM) /WED 4:30)
An intermediate class where students will build upon their understanding of jazz dance and learn how the style translates to stage. Increasing their skill-set in timing and musicality, students will experience several styles of Broadway dance. They will use their movement to highlight the elements of a musical theater piece, while further developing their skills in jazz. HIP HOP (TUE 6:30)
An introductory level class where students will learn a variety of hip hop steps and skills such as isolations and basic breakdance footwork, and implement them into choreography. With its hard-hitting movements and dynamic energy, this class will give students the opportunity to explore their personal style while moving to upbeat music. TAP 1 (THU 3:30)
This tap class will introduce the basic foundations of tap dance to create strong and fast ankle work and complicated rhythmical patterns. They will be introduced to faster footwork and more challenging musicality in class. Students are now accomplishing more difficult progressions and turn sequences. STAGE – MAKE-UP (WED 5:30) (AGE 11+)
Elevate your makeup skills with this makeup artistry class. This class allows students to master beginning/intermediate techniques to help enhance character work onstage. This class will: create a “Face Map” for characters, gain knowledge of tools and specialty makeup product, elevate basic makeup skills for standard makeup, and learn specialty techniques for specialized characters.




Ages 13 - 18

An advanced level acting class for those who already have experience in performance, acting, and who have taken a lower level class previously. The students will be given advanced tools to further explore acting techniques and begin to find an acting style that works best for them. VOICE 3 (WED 4:30 ZOOM)
This is an intermediate/advanced vocal class for the experienced singer. Students will learn to sing up to 4-6 part harmony. The main focus will be on mastering blend, vocal dynamics, and vocal expression. They will work on a variety of music styles as well as musical theater style. MUSICAL THEATER 3 (TUE 6:30)
An advanced level class for those who have adequate experience in musical theater and who have taken a lower level class previously. Students in this class will be exposed to more advanced techniques, voice and singing techniques, advanced acting and complicated choreography. The students will be given tools to further explore the techniques and styles used in musical theater. JAZZ 2/3 (MON 5:30 ZOOM)
This intermediate jazz class is for the growing dancer. This class will combine techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms. Emphasis is on the importance of energy, rhythmical accuracy, and style. FUNK JAZZ (TUE 4:30)
This Jazz Funk class is a dance style of the body and mind. This class will incorporate styles like lyrical in the sense of emotional interpretation. This class will focus on hit isolations with sheer intensity and movements that are soft—then hard—then soft again. Jazz Funk tells a story with your body. In this class you will find foundational movements found in Jazz such as: isolations, flexibility syncopation (off beat), pirouettes, leaps, kicks and floor work. TAP 3 (THU 4:30)
Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. This class is for the advanced tap dancer. This technique class will focus on faster and more intricate footwork. The dancer at this level will develop speed, clarity, dynamics, and the ability to execute to complex rhythmic combinations. Students will put the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, and combinations. Tap shoes are required. HIP HOP 2 (TUE 5:30)
Intermediate/Advanced level class where students will learn dance combinations that is high energy incorporating isolations, foot work, strength, style, coordination and musicality into weekly combinations to get your blood pumping. Break moves will be incorporated into dance choreography in addition to weekly technique and advanced tumbling. Benefits such as, better range of motion, body control and agility can be expected. At this level, complicated style patterns, floor work and tricks can be expected in weekly combinations to challenge the mind. CONTEMPORARY PARTNERING (TUE 5:30)
Contemporary utilizes both the strong and controlled legwork of ballet, modern dance’s stress on the torso, and also employs contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, the improvisation characteristic of modern dance and the power and wow factor of jazz dance. Previous dance is recommended. CHOREOGRAPHY (WED 5:30)
This class is for the experienced dancer who understands movement and is eager to create dance on the body. This class will focus on the concepts of creating choreography for a dance, a musical and abstract work. The students will be the creators in this class with the guide of exercises on creating movement, pathways, gestures and a solo. We will pull from different genres of dance such as jazz, ballet, hip hop and musical theater. A CAPELLA
This is an intermediate/advanced vocal class for the experienced singer. Students will learn how to harmonize with no background track through practicing harmonies, tone quality, and keeping on pitch. STAGE – MAKE-UP (WED 5:30) (AGE 11+)

Unity Girls Drill Team


UNITY GIRLS DRILL TEAM: “AUDITIONED CLASS” Ages 12-18 (WED 6:30-8:30 each week)
Come try this new class! This team will be in the style of the Rockettes. This all girl team for ages 7th grade to 12th grade will learn precise routines incorporating tight formations, synchronized choreography and parade style marching and commands. Props such as riffles, ribbons, hats and canes will be incorporated. There will be a costume fee (TBD). This group will perform for a variety of community events: parades, outdoor venues. Tryout Information: Tryouts will be held at CAT of Corona on Saturday, August 8th from 9am – 1pm in the dance studio and will work outside as well. It will consist of a rifle routine and dance routine that will be taught by directors. No need to prepare anything. Please wear red, white or black and tennis shoes. Bring a lunch and water.
